  29. Well... the Alpha is the fastest processor you can buy ;-)

  31. The SGI boxes use a MIPS 4400, 4600, or the Power Indigo's use the 8000 
  32. (someone please correct me if I'm wrong).

  34. My partner, Mark Thopson, said that the word from Jason Linhart(sp?) at 
  35. NewTek is that the Alpha version of LW 4.0 blows away the Indy.

  37. This is the main reason that we went with the Alpha.  Also, the Alpha 
  38. seems to be a very rugged chip.  We have successfully had ours clocked up 
  39. to 300MHz with no problems whatsoever.
